Celebrant Service Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings
- A booking is confirmed once a signed agreement and non-refundable booking fee are received.
- Dates are secured only upon receipt of the booking fee and written confirmation.
- The lead client must be aged 18 or over.
2. Fees & Payments
- A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your ceremony date.
- The remaining balance is due no later than 28 days before the ceremony.
- Late payments may result in cancellation.
3. Cancellations
- The booking fee is non-refundable.
- Cancellations made within 28 days of the ceremony may incur the full balance.
- Any refunds are at the discretion of the celebrant and subject to costs already incurred.
4. Changes & Postponements
- Requests to change dates are subject to availability.
- If the celebrant is unavailable for a rescheduled date, it will be treated as a cancellation.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information and necessary documentation.
- Review and approve ceremony scripts in advance.
- Obtain any required permissions from venues.
6. Nature of Celebrant Services
- Celebrant-led ceremonies are non-legally binding.
- Legal marriage or civil partnership arrangements must be made separately through a registrar.
7. Liability
We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, illness, or government restrictions. Our maximum liability is limited to the total fee paid.
8. Force Majeure
We shall not be held responsible for events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or travel disruptions.
9. Complaints
Any concerns should be raised as soon as possible. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the ceremony.
