Funeral Ceremonies
A personal and meaningful way to honour and celebrate a life.
A personal and meaningful way to say goodbye
Saying goodbye to someone you love is never easy.
And when the time comes, it can feel like there’s a lot to think about — often in a very short space of time.
As an independent funeral celebrant in Lancashire, my role is to take some of that weight off your shoulders and help you create a personalised funeral ceremony that feels right for your person.
A ceremony that reflects them
Every life is different. And every farewell should be too.
There’s no set script, no “one way” of doing things.
Together, we’ll create a funeral or celebration of life service that reflects who they were — their personality, their story, the things that mattered to them, and the people who loved them.
It might include:
- their life story
- personal memories
- meaningful music
- readings or poems
- moments of reflection
- gentle humour, where it feels right
How I support you
I’ll guide you through the process, step by step, at a pace that feels manageable.
We’ll usually start with a conversation — either in person or over the phone — where you can tell me about your loved one.
From there, I’ll write a bespoke funeral service, sharing it with you so you feel comfortable and happy with every word.
On the day, I’ll be there to lead the ceremony with calmness and care, giving you the space to be present in the moment.
A calm and reassuring presence
As a funeral celebrant, what I bring is a steady, supportive presence — someone who will listen, understand, and help you get the tone just right.
Whether you’d like something traditional, something more relaxed, or something a little different, we’ll shape the ceremony together.
There’s no pressure
You don’t have to have all the answers straight away. Sometimes just talking things through can help bring a bit of clarity at a difficult time.
No pressure — just a conversation.
I work across Lancashire and the surrounding areas, alongside local funeral directors or directly with families.
Get in touch
If you feel I might be the right person to support you, you’re very welcome to get in touch. We can simply have a chat and take it from there.
