Wedding Ceremonies

Beautiful, personal ceremonies created to celebrate your love story, your way.

A ceremony that feels like you

Your wedding day is one of those moments in life you’ll always remember.

And the ceremony at the heart of it should feel just right — not formal for the sake of it, not a script you’ve heard before, but something that truly reflects you both.

As an independent wedding celebrant in Lancashire, I create personalised wedding ceremonies that are relaxed, meaningful, and completely tailored to you.

Your story, your way

No two couples are the same. And no two ceremonies should be either.

Your wedding ceremony is a chance to tell your story — how you met, what makes you you, and what you want your future together to look like.

It can be romantic, light-hearted, full of laughter, or a mix of everything. We’ll shape it together so it feels natural and true to you.

A ceremony without limits

One of the lovely things about choosing a celebrant-led wedding ceremony is the freedom it gives you.

Your ceremony can take place wherever feels right — a garden, a barn, a woodland setting, a hotel, or somewhere that holds special meaning to you.

It can include:

  • personal vows
  • readings or poems
  • music that means something to you
  • symbolic elements like handfasting or ring warming
  • involvement from family and friends

How I work with you

I’ll take the time to get to know you both — usually over a relaxed chat where we talk about your story, your ideas, and what you’d like your ceremony to feel like.

From there, I’ll write a bespoke wedding ceremony, sharing drafts with you so you’re happy with every word.

I can help with:

  • writing or shaping your vows
  • choosing readings
  • structuring the ceremony
  • adding personal touches and rituals

On the day, I’ll be there to lead everything calmly and confidently, so you can just enjoy the moment.

A calm and friendly approach

People often say they don’t want anything too stiff or overly formal. That’s exactly where I come in.

My style is relaxed, warm and down-to-earth — helping you feel comfortable, while still making the moment feel special and meaningful.

The legal bit

It’s worth knowing that a celebrant-led wedding ceremony isn’t legally binding in the UK.

Most couples choose to complete the legal paperwork at a registry office before their ceremony — often as a simple, low-key appointment with 2 witnesses costing between £80 - £120.

That then gives you complete freedom to celebrate your wedding day exactly how you want to.

I work across Lancashire and the surrounding areas, creating wedding ceremonies in all sorts of settings — from countryside venues to back gardens.

Let’s have a chat

If you’re looking for a wedding celebrant in Lancashire and want a ceremony that feels personal, relaxed and truly about you, I’d love to hear from you.

No pressure — just a conversation.

Pricing

My fee is from £500. This includes rituals if required and an embossed ceremony certificate. I only book one wedding ceremony per day, so would never have to rush off if timings were running late.

Rehearsal, if required, is £75.

A £200 deposit is required to secure your chosen date, deducted from your final bill. Balance to be paid before the first ceremony draft is presented to you. The first 30 miles of travel is included in my fee and 55p per mile is charged thereafter.
