As an independent celebrant in Lancashire, I create personalised naming ceremonies that are relaxed, meaningful, and completely tailored to your family.

A ceremony without rules
One of the lovely things about a celebrant-led naming ceremony is that there are no set rules.
Your ceremony can take place wherever feels comfortable — at home, in a garden, a venue, or somewhere that means something to you.

How I work with you
We’ll start with a relaxed chat, where I get to know you, your family, and what you’d like your ceremony to feel like.
From there, I’ll write a bespoke naming ceremony, sharing drafts with you so you feel comfortable with every word.
On the day, I’ll lead the ceremony in a calm and friendly way, making sure everything flows smoothly so you can enjoy the moment.

Naming ceremonies don’t need to feel formal or structured.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth and flexible — helping you create something that feels easy, inclusive, and full of meaning.

I work across Lancashire and the surrounding areas, creating naming ceremonies for families in all sorts of settings.

Pricing
My fee is from £250. This includes rituals if required and an embossed ceremony certificate. I only book one naming ceremony per day, so would never have to rush off if timings were running late.
A £100 deposit is required to secure your chosen date, deducted from your final bill. Balance to be paid before the first ceremony draft is presented to you. The first 30 miles of travel is included in my fee and 55p per mile is charged thereafter.
