Others simply make you feel at home.

After visiting the recent Open Day at Beeston Manor I can honestly say it ticks both boxes. From the moment I arrived, I knew this wasn’t just another wedding venue.

Instead, it felt welcoming, relaxed and full of personality. Better still, every member of staff I met was genuinely friendly, approachable and couldn’t do enough to help. In particular, Janet and Jen made me feel incredibly welcome, and their enthusiasm for the venue was infectious.

As an Independent Wedding Celebrant, I visit lots of venues. However, every now and again I find somewhere that I immediately picture myself standing in front of a couple, telling their love story. Beeston Manor is definitely one of those places.

A Lancashire Wedding Venue That Has Everything

Hidden away amongst the beautiful Lancashire countryside, Beeston Manor is a family-run venue where your entire wedding day flows naturally from one special moment to the next. Rather than travelling between different locations, everything happens in one stunning setting. Consequently, couples and their guests can simply relax and enjoy every minute together.

The indoor Oakland Room immediately caught my eye. It has such a lovely atmosphere, with warm timber, natural light and a feeling of intimacy that’s perfect for exchanging heartfelt vows.

Equally impressive is the outdoor ceremony space, surrounded by rolling countryside and breathtaking Lancashire views. Whether you’re dreaming of an indoor ceremony or saying “I do” beneath the open sky, the setting is absolutely gorgeous.

One of the newest additions is The Meadows, and I was genuinely impressed. Brides and their closest family and friends can spend the evening before the wedding together in luxury.

Within The Meadows is The Nest — a beautiful bridal lounge where the bride squad can enjoy hair and makeup, relax together, share a glass of fizz and soak up every exciting moment before walking down the aisle. It really adds another layer to the whole wedding experience.

Meanwhile, the groom certainly hasn’t been forgotten. The Den provides a dedicated space where the groom and his best mates can get ready, enjoy some music, have a quiet drink and calm those inevitable pre-ceremony nerves.

I love the fact that both sides of the wedding party have somewhere special to enjoy those precious hours before the ceremony begins.

As I wandered around Beeston Manor, I couldn’t help imagining a celebrant-led ceremony taking place there.

A ceremony that’s completely personal.
A ceremony filled with laughter, emotion and stories that truly reflect the couple.

That’s exactly why I became a celebrant.

Every wedding deserves words that are written just for that couple, rather than a script that’s been heard countless times before. Beeston Manor provides the perfect backdrop for creating those unforgettable moments that couples and their families will remember forever.

Of course, stunning buildings and beautiful views are important. However, it’s the people who make a venue truly special, and that’s exactly what I found here.

Every member of staff I spoke to was warm, welcoming and incredibly accommodating. Their passion for creating amazing wedding days shines through in everything they do, and it left a lasting impression on me.

I genuinely hope it won’t be too long before I’m back, this time standing beneath that beautiful floral arch or inside the Oakland Room, officiating a ceremony for one very lucky couple.
